  • DD = Two digit day of the month (01-31)

  • Dial "#20 1234 4 #" to get the system to use a 12 hour clock rather than a 24 hour (Military) clock.

System Stops Ringing or Rings only on 1 Telephone

  • If your system stops ringing or only rings on 1 phone (usually extension 1 or 4), then you may need to reprogram your system.  Try the following:
  • With the handset on-hook, dial "#20 1234 1 #".  Display shows "MMC Disable" prior to hitting the terminating "#" symbol.
  • dial "#62".  Display shows "Day Ring Assign"
  • Press one Line button from the group of incoming phone lines at the top of the phone keypad.  (ie., for your Line #1, press the first line button, for line #2 press the second line button)
  • Press all of the Telephone Station/Extension buttons (left side of phone keypad) that you want to ring for incoming calls. (ie., if you have extensions 1 2 3 4 and 6, then press those buttons)
  • Dial "#" to complete the programming for the selected line.
  • Repeat the process for all lines on your system.

example:  If you have 3 phone extensions <ext1>, <ext2> and <ext4>, and if you have 2 incoming lines <line1> and <line2>, you would do the following:

  • #62<line1><ext1><ext2><ext4>#
  • #62<line2><ext1><ext2><ext4>#

FYI, when a prostar system loses it's programming, it defaults to ringing on telephone extension #4.  If you have to extension #4, no phone will ring.

FYI, If you want to display what your system is set to, dial #2012341# and then #62<line1>, the display will show the telephone sets that will ring for line one (ie :124 from example above).  If the phone system has become unprogrammed, it will only display :1 or 4
