Telephone Feature Codes

Feature *0 - Button Inquiry - Check what is programmed on any button.  Use when labeling buttons.  Press FEATURE *, 0

Feature *1 - Program Button for External Autodial - Store an external number for one-touch dialing.  Press FEATURE *, 1

Feature *2 - Program Button for Internal Autodial - Store an internal extension for one-touch dialing.  Press FEATURE *, 2

Feature *3 - Program Button for a feature - Store a Feature Code for one-touch access.  Press Feature *, 3

Feature *4 - Program Personal Speed Dial - Add or change a Personal Speed Dial number on your telephone.  (Note, Code 01 thru 70 are reserved for System Speed Dial), you need to use Codes 71 thru 94 for Personal Speed Dial)

  • Press Feature *, 4. 
  • Enter the code (71 to 94) that you want to associate with a telephone number. 
  • If you want to include a line selection for this number, select the line or line pool. For M7100 Phones, you can select a line only.
  • Enter the number you want to program.
  • Press OK or HOLD
  • In order to use your stored speed dial number, Press Feature 0 and the desired 2 digit code (note:  no "*" needed)

Feature *6 - Adjust Ring Type - Select on of 4 Ring Types.  Press FEATURE *, 6 and then press a keyboard number (1 to 4) then press Hold or OK.

Feature *7 - Adjust display contrast - Press FEATURE *, 7 and then a number on your keypad (1 to 9) to adjust contrast.  Press Hold or OK to set choice.

Feature *9 - Run/Stop - Store more thanone autodial number or external carrier feature code on one memory button by inserting a break point between numbers or codes.  The first press of the button dials the first number or code; the next press dials the next number or code.  You can program up to four numbers or codes separated by break points.
